[One month after her 'victory' against Ninetails, Moro is in much better shape. She isn't roaming close to the village lately, however - any snowfall is remarkably free of her giant pawprints. But for those that venture into the forest, the prints in the snow or dirt are almost always fresh - she has been roaming nearly nonstop since she recovered.

Today, one may find Moro comfortably perched near the lake, looking over the wildlife that came to the water. There's been no effort to hide herself, despite her smell of old, caked blood still a bit fresh from the shoulder wound that Ninetails had inflicted, and the numerous other scars. She was still a bit tender, after all, and those were vulnerable spots. But, as is her way, she's stubborn and confident to the end.

And honestly, for those who want to talk to her, she's looking very content and very peaceful. She'll probably be willing to have a civil conversation! (Gasp!)]

Yuber. [Yeah, it's interesting how much loathing Link can put in that name - almost as much as Ganondorf.] I fought him in August, when he was killing people. We stopped him - me and Sheik.

[Raising a hand to touch his new scar through his clothes, his expression darkens even more.] Then I saw him again a few weeks ago.

[A sigh.] I beat him in August, but he was injured then. But a few weeks ago, I was also injured - and he ambushed us.

[Howl? Not even remotely. Link frowns a little.] I can't howl, [he admits, then pauses and pulls out the ocarina.] I could play a note on this - you have really good ears, right?

[Yuber will be in for a surprise if he attacks him again, then.]

The mountains will swallow that sound, but I will hear it in the forest.

[So don't hunt Yuber down and you should be pretty much safe, right? ...Sort of.]
