[One month after her 'victory' against Ninetails, Moro is in much better shape. She isn't roaming close to the village lately, however - any snowfall is remarkably free of her giant pawprints. But for those that venture into the forest, the prints in the snow or dirt are almost always fresh - she has been roaming nearly nonstop since she recovered.

Today, one may find Moro comfortably perched near the lake, looking over the wildlife that came to the water. There's been no effort to hide herself, despite her smell of old, caked blood still a bit fresh from the shoulder wound that Ninetails had inflicted, and the numerous other scars. She was still a bit tender, after all, and those were vulnerable spots. But, as is her way, she's stubborn and confident to the end.

And honestly, for those who want to talk to her, she's looking very content and very peaceful. She'll probably be willing to have a civil conversation! (Gasp!)]

[The scent catches Moro's attention, and she growls a bit, turning her attention to the newcomer. That smell... why did it seem familiar?]

[ Ah, spotted. Lightning's expression hardens, her posture wary and hand swinging down towards her gunblade-- though she doesn't touch it. Yet. She also knows the animals here speak, so: ]

Hold.

Bite your tongue, human. Do not show such disrespect to a god!

[Moro tenses, shifting a paw just in case she needed to stand.]

[ ..... Well okay then. All Lightning wanted was to keep her from attacking right off anyway, so she indeed falls silent, continuing to study Moro with her chin down. A 'god,' huh? Yeah right. ]

[Moro glares for a bit, before snorting discontently and turning her gaze away.]

[ Lightning has no reason to hang around, and that probably would have been the end of it for now right there had she not spotted... wings. Lightning blinks when she realizes this self-proclaimed 'god' is sporting a pair of extra limbs in the same way she is- if this creature is a captive of this place too, does that mean she also has a journal like that small purple beast had? And like... oh.

It's then that Lightning remembers the sound of the huge wolf's voice, boasting and threatening those who would harm the forest. Put together with what looks to be evidence of wounds beneath all that hair... ]

You're the one... who fought that masked 'demon.'

Who slaughtered the masked demon. The pathetic fox thought she could compete!

[ ... Gods and demons, fighting to the death. Okay. Lightning really wasn't expecting to wake up and talk to characters from a fairy tale today. This is... really the closest she's ever gotten to talking with the sort of non-human things she'd usually be fighting to the death though. She is curious. ]

The fool thought me to be no threat! She cut the trees and attacked my daughter. And so I proved the beast wrong, crushing her bones under my jaws!
