[ Cooro's romping about in the snow today. He's covered in it, jumping into snow drifts as if they're piles of sleeves. He hasn't noticed Moro yet. ]

[Maybe it was the fact that her pups aren't here. Yes, she attributed what she was about to do to that.

She stealthily approached, intending to playfully flatten Cooro against the ground and pin him. And try not to squish him.]

[ MOST eleven year-olds would start freaking out at the weight of a big, furry paw smooshing them into the snow, but not Cooro. The moment the weight knocks him down and presses him lightly, or as lightly as it could be, down, he starts squirming and laughing happily. ]

I could have squished you if I wanted.

You should be more wary of predators. I can swallow what lives in the forest whole, but you're more vulnerable.

That's simply because I'm old. My fur is growing grayer and more yellow the older I get, and it won't match much longer.
