[During the drafts and the flooding, Moro simply evacuated. As a result, the den she had taken residence in has since become uninhabitable. Any possessions of San remain in the cave, soggy and growing mold; Moro has no interest in material possessions.
She does, however, have an interest in finding a new den. Which, given her size, is not an easy thing to do. Now that she's back and close to the village, those who wander even a short ways into the forest may find Moro pawing at holes to see if she can dig them wider, or even trying to squeeze into larger pits.
She is not making much success, mind.]

Even I carry within my chest a poisonous human bullet, and suffer the pain of their selfishness. They shoot at the apes to stop them from planting trees, stealing away more and more of the forest to weaken us and dispose of us.

They really try that? That's awful! [ Killing things planting trees? crazy! ] You have some really shitty people living in your world.

[The bullets didn't quite kill the gods, exactly, so much as make them suffer until their own thrashing killed them off or the Forest Spirit claimed them.]
It is the worst of human kind, but it is not as rare as you think. It is their selfishness, their manipulation, and their change that brings nothing but destruction.

I wouldn't say that. Sometimes a desire for change can bring something good. Like, switching from an oppressive government to a constructive one.

[That was the most insulting part of it!]
Change is not important. Stability is important, and humans seem to know none of it.
