[For once, Moro is using her journal! Her voice comes over the journal, sounding strangely serene. There's a touch of sadness, but overall, she seems content.]
I am aware that my daughter was known, and loved, by some humans. She has returned to where she belongs. There are things still in this den, from her memories of all of you.
I do not care greatly for any of you. I still do not trust many of you.
But she did. And that is something that you should know. Do not dare disrespect that.
[Even with that closing threat, Moro doesn't seem to be untrusting, threatened, or angry.]
You now have but one forest god. And I will defend these trees until I die doing so.

You raised a great wolf!
[Voice]
I did. She was beautiful and strong.

[He's still smiling because... he knows she will be. She's a strong Old Granny Wolf. If she can even handle death, he's sure she can handle just about anything.]

It is for the best. She belongs in the mountain of the Forest Spirit. The mountain needs its gods.

She will be remembered.

Good.
[...Okay so it's a sentiment that Moro isn't quite familiar with.]
[Voice]
Will you be all right, Mother Moro? If you need anyone else to look out for the forest sometimes...I wouldn't mind it.

The humans here are much more obedient than those of my home.

[It's just a pleasantry; he doesn't mean it, because he never knew either of them, but it's be rude not to address the main thing. And from what he understands of this place, now that he's stayed here a while longer --]
Maybe she'll come back one day?

[Voice]
Oh, I'm so sorry Moro.
