That is not the same as my role. I protect the Forest Spirit by driving all who would do him harm from his land. But it is more than his livelihood. It is his will that I guard. His purpose. His desire.

He is the god of life and death. I slaughter the humans who think themselves above him, or come pitifully begging for more time in their lives.
