...It seems too cheap. I can't claim guardianship when there's no certainty that I would even be able to fulfill that duty. On one of these drafts, the Trainers are sent - and I am left behind, and what is there to do about it? Their own partner Pokemon are more reliable than I could be, in those cases.

And what wars are here within Luceti, where we all have a common enemy?

Then do not concern yourself with being something that you are not. Fill a role that has none to fill it, but do not trick yourself into thinking that you are the one born to suit that job.
