[[Action]]

[Moro's been oddly missing for... quite some time now, actually. Two weeks of being incredibly distant from the village, only rarely appearing in the distance to keep an eye out on the village. A week or so ago, she disappeared entirely, after what one would likely assume to be a mallynapping, given the evidence of violence in some areas.

Now, however, a much smaller wolf is haunting the god's usual stalking grounds. Even on Moro's usual perch, it's obvious that though the wolf is significantly smaller, it's still a very abnormally large one. It's not easy to see in the distance, but she does, in fact, have two tails.

Slowly, throughout the day, she's wandering closer and closer to the village. Do you come to meet her, or wait until she's just outside of the town limits?]

((OOC: I've been meaning to do this for a year now! XD Moro's gonna be significantly younger for a week or so. For reference, she's the size of her own pups within the movie. All replies will come from [livejournal.com profile] puppy_moro.))

I am the goddess Moro, of the proud Wolf Clan.

[Wait, what? He blinks once in confusion.]

Now that ain't right. Jay said Moro could eat me in one gulp, I'd be a two-biter for you. [Even as he says this, he still looks impressed by the wolf in front of him.] Is this one of those experiments they've been mentionin'?

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-07 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
You must speak of the elder wolves. I am still a mere pup in comparison.

Experiments?

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
Impressive pup. [No joke. If his buddy had been this big, he would have been a tasty morsel for him.] Guess I shouldn't be expectin' less from a god.

Thought you'd been here a while, too. Those Malnosso guys like experimentin' on us, don't they?

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-09 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
You are a fool to underestimate the gods.

I have never been in this forest before. What stories do they tell of me, that you know my name but not what I am?

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-09 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
Don't I know it. I know a couple of goddesses, consider one of 'em family and beat the other for the right to keep livin'.

[Moses looks confused, tilting his head.] Don't remember this place? Just got here myself but Jay knew you, told me you'd have me for dinner if I started buildin' somethin' in the forest.

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-09 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
...You have been taken under wing by a god as kin? You should consider yourself blessed.

[And that alone seems to change her general behavior towards you, Moses. Her body language completely changes; she relaxes a bit, slightly drops formality, and gives less "godly" and more 'wolfy' body language.]

I have never been here before. But there must be an elder wolf here. Do you not see the tracks? Paws large enough to crush even my skull.

Of course an elder will devour you if you bring harm to the forest. Even I, a simple war god, will kill to protect the forest from needless destruction. But no fool would be so stupid. You humans are clever creatures and know your place.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
Her name's Grune. She don't seem like it here but I saw it with my own eye. Didn't even know she was a goddess 'till the end. More'n glad to call her family.

[He's glad for the shift in behaviour, relaxing enough to sit on the ground cross-legged.]

Yeah, I've seen 'em. Never saw the one who owns 'em but I've been trackin' who left 'em. They just kinda trail off, some of 'em look like they're old, worn down a bit.

Don't you worry 'bout me destroyin' the forest. I take what I need'n leave the rest. Never got the idea of ruinin' everythin' just to make a home for yourself. Me'n my boys used empty spaces, trees already down'n any branches to make ourselves a home.

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
[She sits down in kind.]

There are signs of the elder wolf in this forest, all around. But her blood scent is present, too. Perhaps she's died.

I would think no human to be so stupid.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
[He's not shocked. He's seen a god die in front of him, two in fact. The reminder makes him close his eye for a moment.]

I'm hopin' you're wrong. Be a damn shame if I never got to meet her even if she'd take a bite outta me.

[Moses leans back on his hands, clearly enjoying the day.] Humans can be kinda stupid, I guess. Thing is, we learn so folks gotta give us a chance, like Grune did. Bein' a war god, I reckon you know a lot about that kinda thing. You seen a lotta wars where you come from?

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
I've fought in territorial battles. There is no great war amongst the people.

I was recently traveling back to my land of birth; the mountains where the Forest Spirit dwells. The boars allowed me to visit the pool for a short time. I was very excited to return home.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
Can't say that I wouldn't mind givin' a visit to where you're from. No wars, gods helpin' each other out'n nice places to look at. Probably make a nice home there. Why'd you leave the mountains?

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
That was my father's territory, as well as the Boar Clan's. I left to establish my own territory.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
Not real territorial, huh? Better'n fightin' over a piece of land like some folks do where I come from. All wolves as big as you are where you're from? I mean, can they all talk'n rule the forests like you do?

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Stories say that even pups like me were once even larger, but most dismiss that sort of talk as lore.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
That would be somethin' to see. Just lookin' at the tracks in the forest is kinda intimidatin'. You ever travel 'round with humans? I don't mean like pets or anythin' like that, just bein' friends.

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
No. But I do fight alongside chosen armies in war.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
How do you know which ones're right'n who's wrong? I know I wouldn't wanna be on the other end of'n army bein' led by a god.

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-13 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
There is no "right" or "wrong" side. Only actions can be wrong. Choices. And everyone makes wrong choices.

I join the side of the army most suited to me. The army that has more honor, and more respect, that calls on me to battle alongside them.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-13 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Guess I can't argue with that. Wonder if that's why Grune helped us, gave us a chance. Schwartz wanted to turn back time, didn't think we could change'n we all were wrong. Can't say I'd wanna get in between gods or goddesses again.

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-14 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
A battlefield of gods is no place for mortals.

[identity profile] rogue-hunt.livejournal.com 2011-07-14 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Probably right but when they're the ones decidin' if we live or die, you're damn right I'm gonna make some noise. I hate givin' up'n I ain't a quitter. Gotta live life our own way'n get a chance to prove we're not gonna just mess things up. Humans ain't perfect but we can learn.

[identity profile] puppy-moro.livejournal.com 2011-07-14 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
That's what makes humans unique.
