[As always, Moro's use of the journal is extremely minimal. She has only one thing to say to any of you, as she is so kind as to warn you all in advance.]

I have returned. All who grievously harm this forest will die.

[With that, Moro can be found in the forest, slowly and stiffly walking about to get herself familiar with the forest of Luceti once more. She sniffs at the bark of trees, scratches at some patches of dirt with her claws, and otherwise silently moves. She has no mark of the demon, as many of her victims from over a year ago have... she has nothing amiss about her other than the bleeding of her chest wound, which is simply dripping along the path she is walking.

She has not yet approached the village. All she has done is use her journal to address them, and she is currently carrying the paper book in her mouth.]

[When he does get close to where she is (which he will find more easily, should he follow the fresh red blotches in the snow before they turn brown), Moro catches his scent on the wind in advance and warns him with a deep growl. No lunge, this time around, but it's not a friendly greeting.

Moro herself is hunched over, and was grooming her wound. Not an especially powerful position to be in.]

[ Oh, that deep growl-- ] Hey, is that you?!

[ He calls out, a hand cupped to his mouth to call out to her. Because he's not sure where the blood trail was going. He's no tracker. He just figured that the blobs there are more frequent where he ought to go ]

[She doesn't stand, just sitting upright as rigidly as possible, and growls again.]

Begone. I haven't the strength to kill you swiftly.

Why do you gotta kill me at all?! [ That made him jump a little. Err] I was lookin' for you to talk about that.

To negotiate with me?

Uuh... yeah, I guess that's word for it...! Basically, you were gunnin' for me back before and I'm here to try to get you to stop doing that.

To turn my blind eye to a demon? And why would I do such a thing?

'Cus I'm not causing problems for anyone.

[ And he's an exorcist, but that's more basic. He crosses his arms somewhat indignantly. ]

Oh? You are not driven by a desire to consume and destroy? Not overwhelmed and driven only by your emotions? Your pain, and your rage?

Even if I was driven by my emotions, it's not like they just want to consume and destroy or that sort of stuff [ Him, personally. The demon heart... he's felt that, before, if he's honest. Particularly when he felt he was going to loose himself against the Impure King. But he knows he can control it, he's been working on it for a long time. ] In fact, I've been training to try to help people against things like that.

[Moro's smirk only stretches further across her face. It's not of amusement, but of disgust.]

I will be there when you fail. When that rage consumes you and you become what you so strongly smell of. I shall crush you in my jaws on that day.

I'm not gonna- [ ... Ugh ugh ugh. That is not want he wanted to hear, but it's betting than her attacking and him needing the draw the sword anyway ] -- Look, the reason I'm askin' is because some day I'm probably going to be in the forest with someone else, and I don't want them getting hurt because you've got this issue with me.

Are they human?

I didn't really mean anyone specific.

[ More just a "future reference" thing. Like if he had to show someone somewhere or they wanted to meet in the woods or... something. ]

Very well. I shall only see fit to slaughter them if they burn my forest or push you into my path to flee like pathetic cowards.

[ ... Well, better than nothing.

Now, does he mention the Bonfire thing (though in the end they only took down one tree and damaged one other one because he didn't realize it was too young to cut at)... nah. Or that big fight with Saten?

Good. Now begone from my sight, or I will fill my belly with your meat.

[ Ugh he can just not get along with this thing. Still, he turns to make to walk away now. That went about as good as he expected and-

he didn't think that turning his back to walk away might not be smart. But no one said he was a genius.

[Nothing happens, since Moro instead needs to limp off. She's got bigger fish to fry, and she's reacquainted with your scent.]
