Moro's tracks are all around the forest, and most of them are fresh. There's some fresh kills, or at least the freshly eaten remnants of them. There's some territorial markings here and there. All in all, it's a very unfriendly welcome.]

[He decides, finally, to step out from the shadows of the tree, coming into Moro's full view, his cape fluttering behind him.]

I'm someone who grew to despise humanity for their ignorance towards nature, being able to feel the pain of the forests as my own.

Slowly, he reaches up to place his hand on the trunk of that nearby tree.]

Do not mistake me... [A soft, warm glow emanates from his hand against the tree trunk.] ...My powers are far more than just being able to hear it.

[Moro tenses up, taking a couple of steps towards him. But she doesn't sense any negative change in the tree, so she pauses.

She was literally half a second from pouncing and ripping you in half. You legitimately have her attention.]

[Soon, Lance pulls his hand away, as the light fades, and the tree looks no worse for the wear. In fact, it may even look slightly healthier now.]

[Her nostrils are flared, and she makes no attempt to silence the heavy huffs as she takes in as much scent as she can. Your scent was strange. Where had she smelled it before? Because she has, but to a much weaker degree.]
