[Just another day, another time for Moro. Though usually quite content to keep her distance from humans (despite her growing fondness and affections towards the captives of Luceti, she was still incredibly hesitant to be trustful), today it seems she's lounging around just outside the village boundaries. She's even stretching and rolling around, participating in very casual behavior, not very typical of her usual demeanor.

Of course, these slightly embarrassing behaviors are only viewable from a distance, as she quickly regains her dignity and sulks into the cover of the trees when someone approaches too close.

The second half of the day is spent idly hunting. Because it's best to stock up on fatty reserves for the winter anyway. You might get that funny feeling of being followed...]

How well do you suppose you'll know the world around you when you don't care to even look? You will be caught off guard one day for it.

[Moro laughs again, a little louder this time.]

You will need to know the forest if you wish to continue living in it. This forest is small and weak, but not all are pitiful like this.

[Pause. A glance over to Sneasel for a moment. Then he looks back at Moro.]

What qualifies as animal instinct?

I'm not exactly savvy on the dividing line between human and animal instincts, especially since humans seem to be different depending on the world. [That and he completely fails at proper concepts of socializing and society. Those help blur lines too.]

Instinct is what you will do if you do not think it through. Humans think so much that they have forgotten to listen to their instincts. Even if they assume they are in tune! Even you are so reserved.

[tsuntrader]

[Another of those laughs, as Moro calmly turns to face him yet again.]

Without instinct, you would not know to move. You would have died.

You did not think, in that moment, and that is why I have not killed you with that bite.

[Okay, okay, calm the fuck down. That was a lesson. Just stay alert. He sounds significantly more tense when he starts speaking again, but at the same time, that tension is very much forced down.]

Bah! Dealing with humans. You forget that they, too, are animals. They have instincts, even if they aren't aware. You're much more alert when I am standing, tall, strong, and confident. You are relaxed when I am laying down, with my head low.

You do not actively do these things. Or think about these things. Where humans like you fail is that you do not know how to provoke these reactions from others.

[Several things come to mind. For a moment, it looks like he's going to say something, likely in protest.
