[There's something strange afoot, in luceti's forest. Namely that... it's bigger, in a chunk of land. The trees are remarkably taller, thicker, and generally of a different species of flora. It seems huge, towering over the natural Luceti forest, but it is only so large in area. Should you dare to venture into the massive trees, you'll eventually find yourself at a pool with pristine waters and just enough part in the trees that the sun shines down on a little central island in the lake.

If you chose to stay for a while, you'll feel a buzz of something supernatural. You'll see Japanese species of insects, maybe a mouse or two... and if you stay long enough, you may be lucky enough to encounter a tree spirit.

If there were monsters here, they are regularly cleared out. And if those familiar giant pawprints and small footprints alongside them are any indication of who, you can probably expect to encounter one of the wolf tribe within these trees.]

This forest belonged to the Forest Spirit. I served him as a guardian.

Like the Great Deku Tree? [He remembers her saying that she was a guardian, but does that mean there's an even higher power here?] The Kokiri said that he was the guardian of the forest and he made everything in it.

No. The Forest Spirit is the god of life and death.

Oh... [Okay, a bit more powerful than the Great Deku Tree.] Is it... okay for me to be here? Even though this is still Luceti?

The Forest Spirit is not here to punish you.

But I will kill you myself if you step foot on his island.

[Has anyone ever told you you're kind of scary, Moro?]

Okay. I won't go near it, I promise.

I imagine you will lose interest in this place regardless.

[Must have been an interesting interview.]

Maybe. [He shrugs a little, sitting back.] I like forests, though. This one feels a lot more alive than the one in Luceti... like at home.

[This is the point where he catches sight of a cluster of little white bodies in the trees, voice trailing off as he gazes up at them.] Moro, what are they?

Kodama. Healthy trees give birth to them.

[A smile drifts across his face, raising a hand to wave at them.] I guess they're like fairies in Hyrule. They come from the Deku trees, too.

[biteoffherhead]

[They tilt their heads, smile eerily, and wave back, the heads clicking back into place like toys.]

That is the second time I have heard the word faerie.

[Wow, that's almost creepy. Still, they don't seem to be a danger at the moment.]

The ones in Hyrule are mostly in the forest, although there's fairy fountains in other places, too. I guess they mean the forest is healthy, too.

There's other fairies in Luceti, but they're different kinds, I think. Salt is a sun fairy.

I haven't seen spirits in Luceti that are truly like what nature creates.

I guess not. It's sort of strange here. [He glances at her, a faint nostalgic smile on his face.] I think you'd like my forest. It feels alive.

Any forest where humans do not rip the trees from the earth is a forest I am fond of.

[Hurrah, approval.] Nearly no one goes in there except the Kokiri, and they live with the trees. Maybe other places here will change and you can see it.

[biteoffherhead]

Perhaps. I have already been wandering and venturing the new forests as they arrive.

That would be nice. I'm sort of used to open spaces now, but I still like forests the most.

[Link stretches a little, then stands.] I think I'll go - I should see if anyone else is in trouble.

[Just a little bit awkwardly, he glances back speedily to the island, then back to Moro, giving her a smile.] Thanks for letting me visit your forest, Moro. It's beautiful.
