[The grin disappears from her face, and she frowns, for a bit. She looks over the forest again, as she speaks.]

...The humans that live here have come to an understanding with me. They know what to take, and they plant every time they cut a tree. Their hunting is not out of sport or boredom. What they take from the forest is not meaningless.

These intruders don't understand that agreement. They would cut a tree instead of forage for fallen branches. They would kill four deer and toss away chunks of meat instead of cleaning everything off of the bones.

They will not come to an understanding before they are gone.
